Isabella Borda is a designer currently based in Los Angeles, CA. She earned her undergraduate B.Arch from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a minor in Art History.

 

Her undergraduate thesis project examined the emerging role of ornamentation in contemporary architecture, reflecting a lifelong passion in cultural symbology, spaces of ritual, and the history of art & architecture. Professionally, her work has ranged from multi-family developments, to community libraries, high-end residential, and commercial work for small businesses. Through it all, she has cultivated an understanding of creating intimate realms across typologies, where dreams, memories, and a sense of life can flourish.

Besides this, she enjoys reading fiction, writing, and making art through various mediums, currently interested in pattern making with weaving and stained glass.
